Tacloban City [October, 2008] – The Eastern Visayas State University (EVSU) College of Education is pushing to enhance their teacher-education program.

Rosalie Ocaris, head of the student-teaching department, said one of the steps they made to improve the program is by conducting an exit conference on the performance of their student-teachers as a sort of evaluation upon ending their practicum.

Confab on arts and culture held Saturday, Oct 4 2008

Tacloban City [October, 2008] – The “Conference on Arts and Culture,” an activity initiated by the Sangyaw Foundation, was successfully held with nearly 50 participants attending the event.

The half day affair, which was held at the Tacloban City Hall Executive Lounge on Tuesday, September 30, gathered Sangyaw Foundation officers and cultural affairs coordinators from more than 10 schools in the city.
